Our Story
New Idea Contracting was founded by Fabio França, a construction professional with years of hands-on experience earned as a member of Carpenters Union Local 254 in New Jersey. Working for major construction companies across all phases of residential and commercial carpentry, Fabio paired that field expertise with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and specialized training in Construction Project Management and heavy equipment operation.
Between 2019 and 2020, that combination of trade skill and project management discipline became a company. New Idea launched as a licensed Home Improvement Contractor serving homeowners throughout New Jersey — starting with small residential projects and earning a reputation for quality, reliability, and follow-through.
Today, with more than 35 full home renovations completed and a 2025 expansion into ground-up residential construction, New Idea manages every phase of a project — concept, permitting, construction, and final delivery — under one roof.
